The Mission Possible Gala

Save the date! The 16th Annual Mission Possible Gala will be taking place on November 27 at the Fairmont Waterfront! 

The Mission Possible Gala brings together Mission Possible associates, caring community leaders, industry experts, and dedicated supporters in celebration of transformational change in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside (DTES). 

With the help of our Gala partners and supporters, we were able to soar past our goal of $275,000 last year, raising a total of $307,792 for our Employment Readiness Program!

Live Auction Items will be up for Bid at the 16th Annual Mission Possible Gala.
 
If you are interested in placing a proxy bid to be considered during the live auction please complete the following steps:
  1. Email development@mission-possible.ca with your desired auction item, and your proxy bid amount.
  2. Complete the invoice form sent by Mission Possible via Square to submit your credit card details. You will be charged $10 which will be considered a donation towards our Employment Readiness Program. This fee is non-refundable. Be sure to check off the box next to "Save my card on file with Mission Possible Compassionate Ministries Society". This ensures that if you are the winner, we can charge you for your payment.
  3. If you have the winning bid, Mission Possible will get in contact with you and charge your card automatically on Thursday, November 28th by 12pm.

Awards are presented to graduates of our Employment Readiness Program who embody the values of Mission Possible by being tenacious, empowering, compassionate, humble, and supportive. They have experienced challenges along the way to where they are now, but have demonstrated strength and determination.

In 2021, our Gala raised more than $250,000 for our Employment Readiness Program and wraparound support services.
 
Mission Possible's Employment Readiness Program provides workshops, ongoing skills training, regular & supportive 1:1 coaching sessions, and 6+ months of meaningful work opportunities, while also supporting program participants with wraparound support including housing and food security programs.
