The 16th Annual Mission Possible Gala

The 16th Annual Mission Possible Gala took place on November 27th at the Fairmont Waterfront! 

With the help of our Presenting Partner, Taseko Mines, our Gold, Silver, and Bronze partners, and our supporters, we were able to far surpass our goal of $300,000 this year at the 16th Annual Mission Possible Gala, raising a total of $336,144 for our Employment Readiness Program! In the gala's 16 years, this is the most we've ever raised, and we could not have done it without your help.

It was also an incredible night to celebrate our six Award Winners and all of Mission Possible’s accomplishments in the last year. It’s been an honour to follow and play a part in each of their journeys, and we couldn’t be prouder of how far they’ve come. Congratulations again to Dave, Kim, Oscar, Ayush, Noah, and Paul!

We would like to express our sincerest thank you to our extraordinary host, Drew from Move 103.5, as well as our fabulous auctioneer, Fred Lee. In addition, we are so grateful for our Presenting Partner, Taseko Mines, and our Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Media Partners, without whom the work we do would not be possible. 

The support shown at our gala will make a huge impact on those entering our doors for the first time in the coming year. With more and more people looking for work, the funds raised will help us provide more opportunities for folks in the Downtown Eastside to secure the training, coaching, and support they need, allowing them to grow their confidence and achieve a renewed sense of dignity and purpose!
