DP World: Gala 2023 Gold Partners

To ensure an equitable and sustainable future, DP World has developed 'Our World, Our Future'. Zoë Jackson, Manager of Training & Sustainability, shares, "Our sustainability strategy, ‘Our World, Our Future,’ ensures that we operate as a responsible business, by prioritizing sustainability to achieve a better, more socially equitable and sustainable future." 

DP World has been a proud supporter of Mission Possible for over 20 years, helping in numerous ways to create opportunities for people returning to work. As one of our longest standing Gala Gold Partners, they continue to demonstrate this commitment to creating positive social change. Jackson emphasizes, "Just like Mission Possible, we want to empower people, lead with compassion, and provide a supportive network through our Charitable Partnerships Program to continue giving back to our community." DP World recognizes the importance of providing long-term and consistent support, as it helps organizations like MP improve and expand their programs.  

In addition to their generous sponsorship and grants, DP World also regularly hires MP Maintenance crews for their commercial cleaning needs, which creates more opportunities for transitional work. Their involvement throughout the organization is another testament to their commitment to creating positive impact that will be sustained for years to come. 

When asked what stands out to DP World about MP, Jackson shared, "Here at DP World, we love how action-oriented the organization is. When homelessness, poverty, and other obstacles to employment can feel extremely challenging, the [Employment Readiness Program] is there to step in and support with work experience, training, and education to move people towards stable employment. Mission Possible is tackling challenges with incredible programs like MP Neighbours, which help keep the community safe and secure."
