MP's Community Clean Up Day 2024

MP's Community Clean Up Day 2024

MP's Community Clean Up Day took place on June 22nd this year, and we had a fabulous time welcoming our supporters into our office and community!

With the help of all the attendees, we were able to pick up over 50 bags of garbage throughout the Downtown Eastside! We also raised over $23,100 towards the Employment Readiness Program! We were blown away by the creative team names, incredible treasure hunting skills, and most of all our community's huge capacity to care.

We were also grateful to hear from Ursula and Grimm who shared their journey through the Employment Readiness Program with our attendees. They have both come so far since walking through our front doors, and we are so proud of everything they've accomplished. It was incredible being able to celebrate them with our supporters!

Thank you to everyone who came out to show your support at MP's Community Clean Up Day (formerly known as Cleanest Day of the Year)! We are inspired by your action and care!

We'd also like to thank our Partners for this event as well. Without them, this gathering would not have been possible!

It takes determination, tenacity, and courage to re-enter the workforce and your encouragement and support for the Clean Team associates in our Employment Readiness Program means so much. Thank you for taking action to support our associates this summer.
