The 2022 Mission Possible Gala happened on December 1st at the Fairmont Waterfront. It celebrated Mission Possible's 30th Anniversary, and several past program participants were presented with the Momentum Award. It was an incredible night full of stories of transformation, hosted by Nat & Drew from Move 103.5. There was also an incredible Live Auction led by Fred Lee!
This year was the first year that our gala sold out in advance, and we are so grateful for all the support that our partners provided for us. Thank you to our Gold, Silver, Bronze and Media Partners in particular!
We had over 300 guests, and with their help, along with numerous people at home through the online auction, we raised over $271,000! That will make an incredible impact on our Employment Readiness Program which provides workshops, ongoing skills training, regular & supportive 1:1 coaching sessions, and 6+ months of meaningful work opportunities. This program also supports associates with wraparound support including housing and food security programs.
Check out this video from one of our Momentum Award Winners, Ursula, about how she came to Mission Possible, and her time in the Employment Readiness Program.
We would love to hear from you if you’re interested in becoming a 2023 Mission Possible Gala Partner! Contact our Development Team at development@mission-possible.ca!
